WISE Story

I. Our Story: A Vision Takes Shape

On June 23, 2019, in Istanbul, Turkey, a group of forward-thinking Islamic educational institutions from across the globe united to establish WISE—a collaborative platform dedicated to nurturing the next generation of leaders. These visionary leaders recognized the need for a space where educators could connect, share best practices, and collectively raise the standards of Islamic education.

Since its inception, WISE has held successful summits in Mashhad, Iran (2022), and Karbala, Iraq (2024), bringing together educators and students from around the world to share knowledge and experiences. [2]

The inspiration for WISE is deeply rooted in the Quran’s emphasis on knowledge and guidance, and the Prophet Muhammad’s (SAW) dedication to education. The founders envisioned a community where Islamic values could thrive while respecting local regulations and educational standards. [1]
