In today’s ever-evolving society, it is our humble duty to uplift and inspire our young generation, nurturing them to become the visionary leaders who will shape our future. With utmost sincerity, we introduce WISE Talks, a groundbreaking international public speaking platform designed to empower students by honing their communication, critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, and public speaking skills, all while fostering a deep connection with their Muslim identity. Through this heartfelt initiative, participants will not only gain confidence and eloquence but also develop a profound understanding of emerging social issues and their ability to articulate their thoughts and concerns.
Over the course of a year, students will embark on a transformative journey, learning invaluable skills such as proposal building, content research, speech formulation, expressing their views with clarity, and inspiring others to take meaningful action. This program, carefully crafted for students in grades 6 to 11, will enable them to explore the challenges faced by their communities and discover innovative solutions to create positive change.
The program entails two rounds of competition. The first round will take place within students’ own schools and communities, giving participants the opportunity to showcase their growth, ideas, and public speaking skills. Successful participants will then advance to the second round, where finalists from different communities will come together at the annual WISE Talks Summit to share their perspectives, inspire one another, and compete on an international platform.
As WISE Talks continues to grow, each summit represents another milestone in bringing together young Muslim voices from around the world. Our journey across past and upcoming WISE Talks summits reflects our commitment to creating meaningful spaces where students can develop as confident communicators, thoughtful changemakers, and future leaders.
