Taghred Najdi is the learning support coordinator at Al Zahra College, an independent school in Sydney, Australia. Taghred has over 18 years of teaching experience, having taught primary school-aged students at several schools in both Australia and Lebanon. She has also taught English at several universities. Taghred has had various roles during her teaching career including classroom teacher, curriculum coordinator and educational team leader. She specializes in designing innovative improvements to pedagogy with an emphasis on evidence-based instruction.
Taghred holds degrees in Bachelor of Primary Education, Master’s in Special Education and is currently completing a PhD at the University of Sydney. Her thesis title is ‘What makes for evidence-based teaching of Arabic to stage 3 heritage students in Sydney’.
