In today’s ever-evolving society, it is our humble duty to uplift and inspire our young generation, nurturing them to become the visionary leaders who will shape our future. With utmost sincerity, we introduce WISE Talks, a groundbreaking international public speaking platform designed to empower students by honing their communication, critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, and public speaking skills, all while fostering a deep connection with their Muslim identity. Through this heartfelt initiative, participants will not only gain confidence and eloquence but also develop a profound understanding of emerging social issues and their ability to articulate their thoughts and concerns.
Over the course of a year, students will embark on a transformative journey, learning invaluable skills such as proposal building, content research, speech formulation, expressing their views with clarity, and inspiring others to take meaningful action. This program, carefully crafted for students in grades 5 to 12, will enable them to explore the challenges faced by their communities and discover innovative solutions to create positive change.
The program entails two rounds of competition, the first of which will take place within the familiar confines of their own schools and communities. Here, students will have the opportunity to showcase their growth and talent. The second round will gather the brightest minds at the prestigious annual WISE Conference, where finalists will engage in spirited competition. In December 2024, we are humbled and honored to announce that the finals will be held during a summit in Najaf, underscoring the significance of this momentous occasion. With genuine anticipation and sincerity, we extend our warmest invitation to everyone to join us in Karbala, Iraq, in January 2024.
