WISE is partnering with the Urwatul Wuthqa Quran Competition to offer a platform for our beloved students to showcase their talents and abilities in recitation and memorization of the holy Quran.
We extend an invitation to all member schools for your participation in our annual Quran competition scheduled for April every year. This year, the event will be held virtually for the third time, bringing together Islamic schools from the United States, Canada, and other regions. We are eager to foster greater collaborations with Islamic Schools in the realm of Quran memorization, and it would be an esteemed privilege to have your students join us for this year’s Quran competition.
We are pleased to share that over 10 Islamic schools, spanning the United States and beyond, are already participating in this virtual Quran competition. This competition assigns specific Surahs in addition to your school’s primary Quran syllabus. Regardless of whether your students are following a different Quran syllabus, they are wholeheartedly encouraged to participate in this event as well. The primary aim of this collaboration is to offer a Quran program that enables students to maintain a daily connection with the Ayaat of the Quran, all while learning them joyfully.
Competition Categories
Students compete in 6 categories for this year 2025:

2. Grades 2-3,

Competition Dates
The Competition comprises two stages. Firstly, the internal competition will be conducted within each school individually by March 29th, with each school arranging its own competition process. and the final round in which students get to compete with the finalists from other schools. Only the top two students from each of the six groups will advance to the final round, scheduled for April 6th-7th. This means that even if the majority of the students have memorized these Surahs, only the top two from each category will have the opportunity to participate in the final round. To facilitate our planning, we kindly request that all participating schools submit the names of their finalists (Up to 12 names) by April 1st, through a form that will be shared with the school representatives. In the final round, there are cash prizes awaiting the winners, and there is a registration fee of $20 for each finalist that is usually paid by their schools. Following the competition, the results will be unveiled during a live celebration program, which will include an interactive session for all participants.
