Established in 1988 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, World Islamic Propagation and Humanitarian Services (WIPAHS) is a non-governmental organization born out of a collective commitment to address the challenges faced by the impoverished, particularly vulnerable women. Through its Wali Ul Asr Education Centre, WIPAHS manages four schools in Kibaha Village, educating approximately 1500 children from Nursery to Secondary levels. The organization also operates a Teacher Training college, annually training about 50 educators.
WIPAHS takes a comprehensive approach to humanitarian efforts by providing clean water access, supporting economic development, and implementing microfinance initiatives for sustainable community growth. Its compassionate initiatives extend to vulnerable groups, including women and children, through orphanages, education loans, and healthcare support.
Beyond immediate relief, WIPAHS actively engages in projects targeting poverty alleviation and community development, guided by genuine Islamic teachings. The organization fosters understanding, tolerance, and unity within the local community, leaving a lasting impact on the socio-economic landscape. WIPAHS remains dedicated to serving humanity through education, compassion, and empowerment.
